Structure and working principle of gate valve:
– Valve connected to the pipe by flanges at both ends, or shackles connected to HDPE pipes. Valves and pipes with bolts. Gaskets are inserted between the two flanges of the valve and the pipe so that the connection has a high tightness. The valve body is molded from Cast Iron Bridge FCD450, covered on both sides with Epoxy paint with thickness> = 300 mm.
– In the valve cover at the top, there is a space to hold the valve leaf when opened, outside the bolt holes are sunk into the body and poured glue or candle wax to prevent dust, water and moist air from trapping and rusting bolts.
– Valve leaf wedge shaped, made of cast iron, outside covered with a layer of safe EPDM Rubber with clean water
– The valve leaf is fixed to one end of the valve with a pin (pin), the upper end of the valve is connected to the handle by a threaded hole, above the valve cover, the position of the passing valve is closed, This cover has a sealing function to prevent material from leaking out. When operating the crank, the valve will move up and down to close or open the valve. So we call this the Connection Type Valve. When observing the position of the valve, we can tell whether the valve is in the closed or open position because when the valve leaf is in the open state, the valve valve protrudes up from the crank.
