Structure:
Spring check valve is composed of 04 main components: valve body, valve stem, leaf valve and spring:
– Valve body: is cast from FCD450 cast iron bridge, with two sides covered with high grade epoxy paint with thickness ≥300 μm
– Ty valve: manufactured from 304 stainless steel, durable, rust-proof.
– Valve leaf: a circular disc manufactured from cast iron FCD450, covered with 100% EPDM rubber, suitable for both clean water and wastewater
– Springs: inserted into the valve company in the middle of the valve leaf and body on the valve, manufactured from 304 stainless steel, durable, rust-proof.
Principle of operation:
When there is no fluid flowing through the valve, the valve leaf under the action of spring thrust is held firmly in the “Close” position. When flow appears to the valve, under the action of flow pressure, the spring is suppressed, the valve leaf is pushed out of the closed position and allows flow through the valve. When the flow is stopped, the valve leaves adjust the pressure of the reverse flow and the spring force returns to the closed position, preventing the water from flowing back towards the valve inlet. Thus the operation of the check valve is fully automatic under the action of fluid flow.

Note when installing:
Spring check valve is installed in the system of two flanges, so when installing should pay attention to the following points:
– Install the valve on the right side of the valve leaf.
– The distance between two flanges must be sufficient for valve installation.
– Gaskets between flanges and valves can be used to increase system tightness.
– The pipe flange size must be identical with the valve flange size.
– The valve can be installed flexibly in vertical or horizontal direction depending on usage.
